AutoCompact 1.5.1, shareware - This stack will compact the frontmost stack whenever a certain, user-definable freesize is reached. It also has a range of other features, such as timer compaction.
Hypnosis 2.7.1, CD-ware - Hypnosis 2.7.1 is an absolute MUST for everyone interested in hypnosis. It contains a vast amount of inductions, self-hypnosis inductions and things you can do while in trance. Version 2.7.1 adds even more to this, as well as a better index.
HC Script Installer 1.5, shareware - This stack is designed to aid HyperTalk scripters in installing their scripts in other stacks. It creates a new stack which will install whatever script the programmer has created. This new release removes the color backdrop and fixes some bugs over the previous version of HC Script Installer, which was called Script Installer Developer Kit.
ViewFont 1.3, shareware - This stack creates a list of all your fonts and displays them as soon as you click on them. You can define size, style and a test sentence in addition to the ASCII set of characters and a no-box character set.
Window Tools 1.6.1, shareware - This stack makes HyperCard and windows a bit easier by creating a menu with all open stacks and windows in it and some user-defined stacks.
Welcome to Macintosh 1.1, freeware - This application will play a sound and show a dialog box every time it is launched. It should be placed in the Startup Items folder in the System folder. Note: Crashes on a Mac PLUS and probably crashes on a IIVX and a Quadra 650 (of course, there’s nothing wrong in trying... It’s a pretty cool app, you know). Don’t expect any updates (I made it mostly for fun).
Memory Measure 1.6, shareware - This stack will test your memory and give you a rating between 0 and 100. It uses 14 different tests which tests your memory in different ways.
MsgMem 1.0, shareware (can you believe that?) - Are you tired of re-typing previous messages in the message box? Then MsgMem is for you. What it does is creating a menu that saves all of the commands you enter in the message box. When it reaches a user-definable limit, it will delete the oldest commands. NOTE: I am working on an update for MsgMem - there is currently a serious bug in it which causes it not to load at startup. Don’t bother downloading v. 1.0 of it.
HC Checksum 1.1, freeware - This stack will create a checksum based on the data fork of any file of your choice. You can choose between having number checksums, letter checksums or both. It also allows you to compare files.
HC Encrypt 1.6, shareware - This stack offers an easy, but secure way of encrypting you files. It supports keys up to 255 letters, the encryption is case sensitive and file length is only restricted by memory (RAM). The encrypted files can be scrambled and/or compressed as well. You can use and create random key files. Registered users can also use the HCE 2 encryption algorithm.
Super Othello 2.0, shareware - Super Othello is a HyperCard implementation of Othello. Super Othello supports player vs player games, Mac vs player and Mac vs Mac games. The artificial intelligence in Super Othello lets you play on 7 different levels of difficulty. This version supports even better super intelligence, a menu (yeah, that’s really impressive, dude) and a feature called two-pass chip checking. It also gives you the ability to log, review, save and load of games. In addition to this you can select which color you want to play and whether or not you want to have flip animation turned on (it looks really cool).
MemTiles 1.0, shareware - MemTiles is a game that is meant to improve your memory. You are shown 9 tiles with either textures, icons or numbers on them. The computer then inverts one of the tiles, keeps it inverted for a certain amount of time (user-definable), and then re-inverts it. You are then asked to click at the tile the computer inverted. It continues like this with increasing levels of difficulty by inverting several tiles per round. The tiles can also be controlled by a human.
Filer 1.1, shareware - This stack will split or merge files at your command. It can merge and split files of any size - from 1 byte to 20 MB, due to its clever use of memory.
Mac Tips & Tricks 1.0, freeware - Mac Tips & Tricks is a compilation of tips and tricks that basically every Mac user should now of. It is not, however, a compilation of easter eggs - for that I would recommend Apple Easter Eggs (created by Daniel Fanton), a DocMaker app widely available on the Net.
Mac Tips & Tricks contains info on a wide range of subjects, from navigating an open file dialog box, troubleshooting the Finder and hacking the system to changing a file’s icon.
